Katydid Hill Farm roving showcases the natural palette of heritage sheep breeds—Corriedale and Romney, Lincoln and Cormo—raised right here in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. From pasture to shop, this fiber never leaves the state. Every roll provides the rich texture that only heritage fleece can offer. Perfect for spinners who value provenance, sustainability, and the stories woven into every project.  Each 2 oz ( about 50 g) coil of roving is labeled with the name of the sheep that provided the fleece.

Those of you who go to the Emmaus Farmer's Market will recognize Katydid Hill Farm for the teas and herbs they grow!  Their roving is just as carefully produced.
