Learn to Knit! Starting from Scratch beginner Class 1

If you've never knitted before, come in for a short series of two-hour small group sessions with our certified knitting instructor, Beth!  She'll walk you through how to get started with knitting in a low-stress, relaxing environment.

Class 1: Two-hour "starting from scratch" class.  Beth will work with you to learn the knit and purl stitches and give you time to practice these in a calm environment with her assistance for all of your questions.

Class 2: Two-hour "my first project" class.  Beth will guide you through starting a small project and provide you with the instructions you need to finish it at home!  

You must purchase each class separately.  Be sure to register for class times so that you take Class 1 before Class 2.

You are free to bring your own needles and yarn to work with.  If you need materials, we are more than happy to provide them for you--please purchase the "Starting from Scratch" beginner knitter package.

If you choose to provide your own materials, you need to bring knitting needles size 7, 8, or 9, and light colored worsted weight yarn (Craft Yarn Council index 4, indicated by the number in the yarn ball icon on the yarn label).
